My new website is LIVE which feels incredible to say! How do you like my new digs?

I work at this sarcastic, amazing tech company during the day, where the term “Go Live” is a common phrase. To Go Live is when a client’s website has been designed, customized, loaded with content, and is ready to be unleashed into the world.

It usually takes a handful of people more than a handful of hours to get a website to Go Live, so when you are the only one designing, customizing, and creating content? It becomes a much greater labor of love. It gives the term Go Live a new meaning — with a new pronunciation the phrase becomes Go Live, as in “you’ve earned a break, now go out there and live.” I’m kidding about this part, but not by much.

The new Sage Jensen Photography all about letting yourself shine. Throwing paint on the walls and being goofy, sexy, hipster or whatever it is that you are. Making your senior pictures into your own statement. Being able to smile when you look at them 10 years down the road because that was EXACTLY who you were in that moment. I don’t think enough seniors get pictures that reflect their amazing personalities.

Pink - Try Performance

“My definition of stupid is wasting your opportunity to be yourself, because I think everybody has a uniqueness and everybody’s good at something.” -Pink (I think she is just the coolest person. We were BFFs in another life.)

The rebranding of Sage Jensen Photography has been an incredible process so far, and I’m only getting started. In order to focus on what I truly love and to provide you with a much better experience, I will be focusing solely on senior portraits and wedding photography. I can’t even say how much your support has meant to me. I look forward to taking some more rad pictures with you in the future!

  • Melissa - Great job; congratulations on the new site!

You’re spot on about the “go out there and live” thing. 😉ReplyCancel

This is a hard post to write.

For the past year, the mother of one of my best friends has been battling breast cancer–fiercely, might I add. Through many a “chemo party” and girls’ nights out, she has been nothing but positive and determined. She’s had friends and family by her side cheering her on, rocking pink everything and looking forward to celebrating every day with her. It was truly my honor to be able to join her as she celebrated her 1st year of being a survivor at the Making Strides event at Holmes Lake.

Joanie, thank you for including me in this special day. I’m ecstatic to have been able to share in and capture the joy of this occasion.

P.S. This lovely lady is celebrating her birthday this Wednesday, November 13th! Leave her some birthday wishes in the comments!

These young men are good. They’re really good. They’re so good that they scored 42 points on Friend while there was still 1:42 left–IN THE FIRST QUARTER.

In a few weeks they’ll be starting their campaign to return to the State Championship game. Many of them were there last year. They fought hard but lost that game. Currently with a 7-0 record, they are hoping to get back there. Hoping to win the game that escaped them last time.

There’s a few towns that are hoping the same thing. We’re all behind you, boys! Good luck with the next few weeks. Give me a chance to take pictures of a state championship win!

It’s hard to believe I graduated high school SO long ago! It was great to see the 2012 Class D-1 State Runner-Up football team demolish their opponent and watch this year’s homecoming court be announced. I’m hoping we’ll see that team back at Memorial Stadium this year! More pictures can be seen on my facebook page (Like my page while you’re there to see new pictures!) or at the gallery.
